Exciting chef Apprenticeships at Barceló Hotels & Resorts
Barceló Hotels & Resorts has joined forces with VT Training to offer nationally recognised qualifications, one of our key focuses is the newly formed Barceló Apprentice Chef Academy (BACA). We have just launched our first annual intake of enthusiastic and willing candidates to kick off the scheme!!
The Apprentice Chef are based in our busy kitchen at one of our twenty, four-star hotels. Each Apprentice will gain hands-on experience at the same time as studying for a recognised qualification. They will have direct access and exposure to our Head Chef, who will act as a mentor, coaching and developing practical and interpersonal skills and will expand on this learning with the help of a VT Training NVQ Assessor, who pay regular visits to monitor and measure each Apprentice's development. To be eligible to apply for this exciting opportunity you must have a National Insurance Number, be able to work more than 16 hours a week, you must be a European citizen, you will not hold a degree or be in any form of Government funded education.
