Leicester's Jewry Wall Museum houses archaeological collections dating from the end of the Middle Ages. The Making of Leicester exhibition tells the story of the city from the Iron Age up to the present day.
The wall is one of Leicester's most famous landmarks and the second-largest piece of surviving Roman building in the UK, having stood for almost 2000 years. Its two arched doorways formed the entrance to the Roman public baths, the remains of which are laid out in front of the wall.
