Leicester's South-Asian music festival, held at the Phoenix Arts Centre, brings together renowned musicians who transport listeners to their homelands with the melodies of their traditional instruments.
The programme ranges from the traditional to contemporary eclectic: while Rakesh Chaurasia blends the sounds of his hollow bamboo bansuri flute with jazz and Spanish guitar melodies, Bhupinder Singh Chaggar mixes his tabla playing with flamenco, Western percussion, soul and hip-hop.
Please visit the festival website for full details of this year's programme.
