Sir Edward Elgar, composer of Pomp and Circumstance, was born in this very house in Worcester, now converted into the Elgar Birthplace Museum in the great man's honour.
In the cottage where the Elgar Birthplace Museum is housed, you can see Elgar's study with his gramophone and desk, as well as memorabilia including family photos and personal possessions. Over in the Elgar Centre there are further pieces, including some of the scores and manuscripts that illustrate his life and work. Please visit the museum's website for more details.
