For a sense of sheer drama and occasion then look no further than the Great Hall, a stunning dining room and one which in its history has been decorated by almost every publication for its food, ambience and service. Here flawless attention to detail will ensure that every occasion is memorable. A 17th century minstrel's gallery, a grand open fire and an imposing barrel-vaulted ceiling greets you as you enter the Great Hall which is a destination in its own right, people travel miles to enjoy the restaurant's 2 AA Rosettes for excellence sumptuous cuisine and warm friendly service of the highest quality. A few steps across the courtyard Goblets Bistro offers a relaxing atmosphere serving traditional English cuisine with a contemporary twist, equally as imaginative and as fresh using ingredients that are grown and reared locally including a wide range of herbs and fruits from the hotel's own orchards. Please note the following new opening times for the Great Hall: Lunch: Sunday to Friday: 12.30pm-2.00pm Dinner: daily 7.00pm - 9.30pm The Terrace and Goblets opening times: Lunch: 12.30pm-2.00pm Dinner: 6.30pm-9.00pm
