Barceló The Lygon Arms hotel is the ideal wedding venue in Broadway in The Cotswolds. One of the most celebrated hotels in England, it is nestled in the idyllic Cotswolds village of Broadway and surrounded by beautiful English countryside. Dating back to the 1600's, the hotel has a long standing reputation for weddings and is steeped in tradition with authentic artefacts, lavish interiors and picturesque gardens providing a truly romantic, picturesque setting to celebrate your special day. The hotel has a licence to hold civil wedding ceremonies for up to 100 guests, and 78 bedrooms, so your whole day can be spent at this unique venue. We have six beautiful function rooms to host your special day, holding up to 100 guests. The 100 year old Great Hall offers plenty of charm and character with a barrelled ceiling, Minstrels gallery, and open fireplace. The Torrington Room and Russell Room both open out into the courtyard where you and your guests can enjoy an alfresco drinks reception.

As well as an exquisite interior and stunning grounds, the hotel also offers a Health Club with a swimming pool for your guests to enjoy, and beauty rooms to ensure you feel relaxed and pampered on your special day. Only 10 minutes from Evesham Railway Station which has a direct link to London Paddington, and minutes from the A44, M5 & M40, arriving at the hotel couldn’t be easier for you and your guests.

For over 500 years, Barceló The Lygon Arms Hotel has nestled among the honey-coloured cottages of the quintessential Cotswold village of Broadway. King Charles I and Oliver Cromwell were among its early guests, while the current visitors’ book, which dates from 1911, reads like an International who’s-who.

Within the Main House and adjacent conference centre, we have a choice of rooms, each adding its own unique ambiance to your function. The Drawing Room and Cromwell Room will lend real grandeur and a sense of history to your banquet or private dinner, while the purpose-built Torrington Room is ideal for larger and livelier social events. We know you’ll have a million things to think about, so our experienced team will be on hand to help and advise from initial enquiry to final farewells.

Staying over means the moment doesn’t have to end with the last dance or glass of Champagne. Rooms in the 16th Century Manor House have been sympathetically refurbished to retain their original character, while the Garden and Orchard wings have a more contemporary feel. And depending on how energetic you’re feeling, you can head for our Health & Leisure Club or Barceló Spa to relax and unwind both before and after your big event.
