Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick was created as a home for the charitable Guild of the Holy Trinity and St George. Take afternoon tea in the tearoom then visit the delightful Master's Garden and the Museum of the Queen's Own Hussars.
The historic group of timber-framed buildings that comprise the Hospital is dominated by the ancient Chantry Chapel of St James, built over the Norman West Gate into Warwick. Today ex-servicemen live here in return for running the Hospital. The eye-catching building has been used in a number of television films, including Pride and Prejudice and Moll Flanders.
