Warwick Folk Festival attracts an impressive line-up of singers, bands, street performers and morris dancers to the leafy grounds of Warwick School. Kate Rusby and Eric Bogle headline the event in 2009.

Since its humble beginnings in 1980, the festival has developed into one of the most highly regarded folk events on the national scene, attracting fans from all over Britain.

The main performance marquee and the Bridgehouse Theatre for intimate acoustic shows are found at Warwick School, along with ceilidhs, workshops and a craft fair. There is also a full entertainment programme for children.

A free festival stage in the town centre offers a full line-up of performances over the weekend.
