Chester Food and Drink Festival

Local produce has been a buzzword for a long time now and Chester's Food and Drink Festival is all about great regional food, with tastings in delis and off-licences and restaurant deals throughout the city.

Twelve days of events culminate with the Taste Festival at the racecourse (22-24 March). Here you can enjoy the sausage competition, attend a beer seminar and watch chefs such as Simon Rimmer, Lotte Duncan and Mike Robinson at work. A special Producers' Market showcases the district's impressive variety of top quality produce, from cheese to cider and homemade chocolates.
