Barceló Troon Marine Hotel is the ideal wedding venue in Ayrshire. The hotel is situated on the stunning Ayshire coastline, overlooking the 18th hole of the Royal Troon Golf Course. With views of the Isle of Arran and an elegant interior, the hotel is a picturesque setting to celebrate your special day. The hotel has a licence to hold civil wedding ceremonies for up to 120 guests and has 89 bedrooms, we can cater for all your needs. We have two beautiful function rooms in which to host your special day. These are holding up to 150 guests, including the Portland Suite with a Conservatory bar for drinks receptions and the Gailes Suite with views over the Portland Golf Course.

As well as an exquisite interior and stunning grounds, the hotel also offers a Health Club with a swimming pool for your guests to enjoy and beauty rooms to ensure you feel relaxed and pampered on your special day. Only 5 minutes from Glasgow Prestwick airport and 40 minutes from Glasgow, arriving at the hotel couldn’t be easier for you and your guests.

Within the hotel’s conference facilities, we have a choice of rooms, all of which can be adapted to suit your needs and guest list. The Darley Suite and Gailes Suite are light, airy and offer superb views, making them ideal for your banquet or private dinner, while the Portland Suite is ideal for larger and livelier social events. We know you’ll have a million things to think about, so our experienced team will be on hand to help and advise from initial enquiry to final farewells.

Staying over means the moment doesn’t have to end with the last dance or glass of Champagne. All our rooms, some of which are named after famous golfers who’ve stayed here down the years, have a sophisticated, contemporary feel, with dark wood furnishings and marble bathrooms reflecting the hotel’s Victorian origins. And depending on how energetic you’re feeling, you can head for our Health Club, or one of the many local golf courses, to relax and unwind both before and after your big event.
