Tuesday 23rd December
Arrive at this striking hotel and make your way to the reception where pipers will greet you. Once you’ve been personally shown to your bedroom, make our way to the Arran Bar for a reviving cream tea with our specially-prepared mulled wine. Your evening three-course candlelit dinner is served in Fairways Restaurant followed by an entertaining quiz to break the ice with your fellow guests.

Christmas Eve
After a leisurely full Scottish breakfast, take the morning at your own pace. Stroll into the town centre for those last minute gifts or wander along the shores and admire the views over the Forth of Clyde. In the afternoon take the time to relax and book yourself a pampering session in the luxury spa. If you’re feeling slightly more active why not join the whisky connoisseur who will take you on a tasting trail? This evening starts with a glass of Bucks Fizz in the Arran Bar before a four-course meal with carol singing. Should you choose to go to Midnight Mass, a hot toddie and stollen cake awaits your return.

Christmas Day
What a way to awake on Christmas morning with the waves crashing against the shore. Fill up on the Scottish breakfast, take a refreshing dip in the pool or simply make the most of your Christmas presents. A glass of champagne welcomes you to a traditional Christmas Day lunch with a special visit from Santa for the younger guests. In the afternoon, retire to the Arran Bar, sit back and enjoy the chatter, take part in the games or watch the latest blockbuster movie on TV. Top off a fantastic day with a sumptuous hot and cold buffet in Fairways Restaurant.

Boxing Day
Hit the sales, the shore or the spa. Did you know that Glasgow is home to the largest shopping centre outside London and is literally 30 minutes drive away? If you want to explore the local area collect a treasure hunt form from reception. For more active guests, venture down to the Health & Leisure Club and take part in a fitness challenge. The showcase event is a four-course traditional Scottish meal with a toast to the haggis and a Ceilidh dance complete with live band. Before we bid you a fond farewell on Saturday, fill up at the breakfast buffet, or stay longer.

A stylish Hogmanay
Tuesday 30th December
Ease into your New Year break when you arrive at the beautiful Barceló Troon Marine Hotel. Enter via the red carpet and take a moment to enjoy the live piper playing a selection of lively Scottish tunes. A delicious cream tea awaits you in the Arran Bar. This evening starts with a welcome glass of Bucks Fizz, followed by a fantastic four-course candlelit dinner. A pianist will keep you entertained throughout your meal.

New Year’s Eve
End 2008 with a bang. Spend today on the beautiful Ayrshire coast or spend it pampering yourself in the spa. Make yourself look glamorous for the evenings’ Hogmanay celebrations, a black-tie banquet with dinner, Ceilidh dance and disco to see in 2009. This lavish event starts with champagne and canapés. Your meal is five indulgent courses, followed by coffee and handmade chocolates. Then there’s time to grab your partner by the hand and do-se-do until 2009 is heralded by the piper. The DJ will take you into the wee hours with a range of classic tracks.

New Year’s Day
Revive and refresh yourself this morning at the breakfast bar. For those who’ve started their resolutions, there’s a healthy selection of fruits and cereals, for everyone else, why not be tempted by the delicious full Scottish breakfast. Whilst you’re still at the hotel, take advantage of the qualified on-site gym instructors and get a programme designed for you – that’s if you can muster up the energy. Otherwise, simply enjoy the first day of 2009 and end your stay with a peaceful three course meal in Fairways with your new-found friends.

Guaranteeing Your Booking
To guarantee your Christmas party booking please send a £10.00 deposit for each guests within 10 days of making your party night reservation. Your deposit cannot be transferred to cover drinks or accommodation. The balance should be settled four weeks before your event. To guarantee your New Year package you’ll need to pay a 50% deposit. All accommodation must be fully prepaid at the time of booking. All payments are non-refundable. You can pay this by Access/MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners, Switch or a cheque (made payable to Barceló UK Hotels).
