Located within the grounds of the University of Sussex, the Gardner Arts Centre is a performing arts and film venue with a capacity of 482. Presenting a wealth of diverse acts and productions throughout the year, the centre also showcases all the best movies, from Hollywood to Bollywood.

The programming here is always top notch. On the major touring runs, you can expect to see everything from Stoppard to Brecht as well as more edgy dance and music performances. Children are well catered for too, with shows from the UK and abroad. The annual Visions International Animation Festival is also held here.
