Charleston Festival

Named after the country retreat of the group of artists, writers and intellectuals known as the Bloomsbury Group, the Charleston Festival celebrates a magnificent literary heritage. Go along to workshops and talks from prominent writers and artists, discussions, lectures and performances.

The Bloomsbury Group met at Charleston House and, in some cases, made it their home. The impressive building had its walls decorated by Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell and it is a fitting host venue for this lively festival.
