CITY CENTRE

Cardiff tastefully combines the old and the new - with charming Victorian arcades housing boutiques and craft shops, and six modern shopping centres which are ranked amongst the finest outside London.

The impressive Millennium Stadium, adjacent to the hotel, is where international rugby games and concerts are held. On the other side of the hotel is Cardiff Castle with its wonderful architecture and history - it's a must to visit.

STYLISH WATERFRONT

The capital of Wales has recently grown into a major business centre with a thriving tourist industry and has seen recent redevelopment of the old coal export area - Cardiff Bay. This waterfront area has been transformed into one of the most stylish parts of the city, with bustling cafes and restaurants and a modern mix of sculpture, arts and science attractions.

BEAUTIFUL SOUTH WALES

Southern Wales offers some wonderful scenery. Dramatic cliffs, beaches, coves and castles such as Caerphilly Castle (approximately 12 miles from Cardiff) make the area popular with tourists.

A short drive from Cardiff is a 14-mile stretch of coastline which has been designated the Glamorgan Heritage Coast with breathtaking views over the Bristol Channel.

There are plenty of scenic walks for those who want to enjoy the wildlife, fresh air and the beauty of south Wales.
