Cardiff's Butetown History & Arts Centre collects and preserves the social and cultural history of Cardiff Docklands. See family snaps, formal studio portraits and celebrities before they were famous among the permanent collection, which also includes audio and visual recordings.

Researchers, artists and media professionals work with the local community and industries to provide a unique archive and an insight into the time when the area was known as Tiger Bay. A full programme of exhibitions and activities make this an invaluable local resource.
