The Barceló Cardiff Angel Hotel is a stunning venue for your special day. Its majestic exterior is matched by a stunning interior which exudes timeless Victorian Charm and elegance. Picture being met on your arrival with a glass of champagne on the red carpet before being led through to our magnificent staircase for a photograph under the priceless Waterford Crystal Chandelier. From here we have a choice of suites in which to host your reception, from an exclusive group of 20 people up to a great celebration for 250. We hold a license for civil ceremonies in a variety of suites and have 102 en-suite bedrooms, which means that your whole day can be spent enjoying this unique venue. To plan your special day, you'll work with a dedicated wedding co-ordinator who will be your one point of contact in the run up to the big day. Whatever you want, however extravagant or unusual you decide, we can put you in touch with local partners and help you manage your budget. However many times you want to visit the hotel, meet with your wedding co-ordinator or discuss your ideas, we'll be available for you to make sure that everything goes without a hitch.

Simply put, the Barceló Cardiff Angel is a stunning venue for your wedding. Its majestic exterior is matched by a stunning interior that exudes charm and elegance. Picture the elegant Prince of Wales Suite adorned with beautiful flowers, romantic candles and tables and chairs matched to your colour cheme, or for the more intimate party, the beautiful Foxhunter Suite. Alternatively there’s the magnificent Dragon Suite that you can hire for up to 300 guests and is the envy of most of the other hotels in the city. This room has a civil ceremony licence, its own bar, dance floor and stage area to host your evening entertainment. You can choose to hire the Dragon Suite for your whole day and night, so whilst you’re in Bute Park capturing your wedding memories, we’ll be transforming your wedding venue into the perfect reception suite.
