Cavendish Room
The Cavendish Suite has fantastic architectural features echoing those featured in the Chatsworth. It has a fireplace, which acts as a lovely feature at the head of the room. The pillars in the room are an excellent feature, which are not obtrusive but very grand. The high ceilings in the room also provide natural air conditioning.The room has large windows offering views of the grounds to the front of the hotel and allowing lots of natural daylight. The heavy drapes close off the light when doing a presentation to have a complete backout. There is double access to the room as well as adjoining doors to the Chatsworth Suite and there is good access to other function rooms and toilets.

Chatsworth Room
The Chatsworth has retained beautiful Victorian features, which offer a calm and relaxed setting for dinner functions. Its mirrors are grand and ornate creating a lovely symetrical effect within the room. The room has large windows offering fantastic views over the Hotel\'s grounds and Buxton town. The Chatsworth has some of the best views in the town. The high ceilings in the room give the feeling of space and natural air conditioning. It has heavy drapes to shut out the natural daylight to allow a complete blackout for presentations. The Chatsworth has power points around the room and controlled tungsten lighting to reduce eye strain when in conference all day. There is a large size dance floor in the room with an optional removable carpet. The dance floor also allows plenty of space around the edge of the room allowing flexibility with function turn arounds.

Corbar Room
The Corbar Room is a relatively new meeting room accommodating up to 10 delegates in a boardroom layout. The room is permanently set up in this style and is an ideal room for small meetings or \'one on one\' interviews. It is located at the top of the main staircase leading from the reception area, but isn\'t accessable by the lift. It is opposite the business centre for easy access to the facilities this has to offer. It has been recently decorated with light coloured walls and a new carpet and blinds. There are also potted palms in the room to create a calming atmosphere.

Derby Room
The Derby Room is located on the ground floor off the High Peak Foyer. It is used as a conference room / syndicate room, as a private dining room and as a bar area for drinks receptions for functions in the High Peak Suite. It has recently been refurbished and offers a relaxing smart atmosphere. It has its own bar which is pulled out and fully stocked for drinks receptions and private dinners. The doors are often propped open throughout drinks receptions for guests to use the High Peak Foyer area as well to mingle. The Derby can also be use for small functions of up to 70 guests, for which the mobile dance floor would be placed in to the room.

Haddon Room
The Haddon is situated on the ground floor, along the same corridor as the Rutland and the Peveril. It is a very flexible room as it works well as a main meeting room or lends itself as a syndicate room to the Chatsworth Room, which is just next door. It is a very large square room, which can accommodate a number of different layouts for both conferences and private dinners. It has a large, impressive bay window at the head of the room, which allows natural daylight and is ideal for a top table or to house equipment such as a screen for a meeting without eating in to the space of the main room. the high ceilings in the room create a spacious and airy feel. There are drapes in the room to ensure a complete blackout for a presentation during a conference. The Haddon has an adjoining door to the Peveril, which can be used as a syndicate room in an excellent location. There is outside access to the side car park, which is good for loading and unloading. The toliet facilities are just down the corridor.

Hardwick Room
The Hardwick is the larger of the hotels 2 boardrooms situated on the first floor above the leisure centre. The stairs leading to the Hardwick lead up from the High peak Foyer and it is not accessible by a lift. It has a lot of windows in the room allowing a lot of natural daylight. The room can accommodate up to 12 delegates in a boardroom layout. The archway across the centre of the room can act as a partial partition to allow the room to be split in to 2 sections. This is good if a meeting needs to split in to 2 teams or needs a separate area for a workshop space. This area could also be used as a refreshment area. Due to its location near to the High Peak Suite, the Hardwick can be used as a storage room in conjunction with the larger room or as a changing room for bands etc using the High Peak for a private function.

High Peak Suite & Devonshire
The High Peak Suite is the hotels largest function / conference suite situated on the ground floor at the back of the hotel. It has its own foyer area, which is used for tea/coffee stations and registration desks during a conference or a drinks reception area during a function. The Devonshire annexe comes as part of the package with the High Peak Suite as the only access to the annexe is through the main doors of the High Peak. The room is impressive and unique, with its stand glass windows and very high ceilings. the High ceilings in the room offer natural air conditioning.The Devonshire annexe is very flexible and can be used as a syndicate area or a catering area or can be curtained off for smaller events in the High Peak. The room has excellent acoustics and is good for large, busy functions. The room has its own bar which is a large area in the Devonshire area. The room has drapes to allow full black out and adjustable lighting. It has its own PA system, which can be operated from inside the room. The High Peak has a very large dance floor, which has a removable carpet.

Peveril
The Peveril Room is situated on the ground floor at the end of a corridor next door to the Haddon. It has an adjoing door through to the Peveril, allowing it to act as a syndicate room to the Haddon. The room also works well as a main meeting room, accommodating up to 50 delegates in a theatre style layout. The room has high ceilings giving it an airy and bright feel, which is great for meetings. It has a large window in the room offering natural daylight and the window also has drapes to give a complete blackout for presentations during meetings. The toilet facilities are just across the corridor.

The Rutland is located on the ground floor along the same corridor as the Haddon & Peveril and very close to the toilet facilities. It lends itself well as a syndicate room or will accommodate up to 18 delegates in a boardroom layout or 35 theatre style as a main meeting room. It has natural daylight, with the windows located around the top of the room so there can be no distractions from outside.
