Great Hall
Part of the original house the Great Hall dates back to 1744 and retains a very traditional style. With polished wooden floors and oak wood panelling around the hall, it has very much a medieval feel. Two grand stone working fire places provide a focal point in the hall and in winter months offer a warming atmosphere when the fires are lit. Large double doors can be opened to make access to the Blue Room lounge area.In addition the Great hall is adjacent to a private baronial lounge and bar area which makes it ideal for for drinks receptions or coffee breaks. From the bar area, double doors lead out to a private knott garden which is perfect during summer months for delegates taking in some fresh air during break times or for private bbq\'s.

The Prince Bishop Suite is decorated in light gold, cream and burgundy colourings this room offers a very light and airy ambience. On one side of the room sash windows are adorned with rich fabrics that can provide a blackout for powerpoint presentations. The room offers comfort cooling and sensitive lighting for guests attending a conference/dinner at the hotel. As one whole room it can accommodate 300 theatre style or does have the ability to split in half, with a sound proof divider wall that can be pulled across to separate the room in two halves allowing two difference companies to run their meetings or to act as two syndicate rooms.
