| General driving directions | From the South West: From the M6 Northbound, exit at Junction 17. Take the A34 to Congleton. At Congleton take the A536 to Macclesfield. At Macclesfield follow sign for Stockport and the A6. This road becomes A523 (Silk Road) heading towards Stockport. Follow the A523 for approximatley 4 miles. At second set of traffic lights you come to, with the Legh Arms Public House on your right, turn right into Brookledge Lane signposted Pott Shrigley. Shrigley Hall is 2 miles up the road on your left. From the North: From the M6 Southbound, exit Junction 20. Take the A50 towards Knutsford. At Knutsford take the A537 to Macclesfield. At Macclesfield follow signs for Stockport and the A6, this becomes the A523 (Silk Road) heading towards Stockport. Follow A523 for approximatley 4 miles. At second set of traffic lights you come to, with Legh Arms Public House on your right, turn right into Brookledge Lane, signposted Pott Shrigley. Shrigley Hall is 2 miles up the road on your left. From the South East: Northbound on the M1, exit at Junction 29, take the A617 to Chesterfield. At Chesterfield take A619 to Baslow. At Baslow take A623 to Chapel-en-Le-Frith. At roundabout turn right onto A6 towards Chapel-en-le-frith. Leave A6 and enter Chapel Village. Pick up B5470 heading towards Whaley Bridge. This road leads to a set of traffic lights at Whaley Bridge, go straight accross heading towards Macclesfield continuing on the B5470. After approximatley 4 miles at the top of a steep brow there is a junction signposted Pott Shrigley to your right, turn right and follow this lane for approximatley 2 miles. At T Junction turn right and Shrigley Hall is 400 yards on your left. |
